About
The Bar David Museum of Art and Judaica is located in Kibbutz Bar'am at the Upper Galilee region. The museum offers three major wings and exhibition areas, one for Judaica, one for contemporary Israeli Art and one for the museum's art collection. The Museum exhibits the old together with the new and offers an interesting point of view that creates a fascinating meeting point between tradition and innovation.
The museum includes five wings and a sculpture garden: A permanent exhibition of Jewish art and ritual objects from different Jewish heritages and communities and a Collection Wing, changing exhibitions from the museum's permanent collections. The Contemporary Art Wing exhibits Israeli artists, leaders in Israel's Contemporary Art Scene. The Youth Wing that hosts an interactive exhibition inviting the young visitor to experience art in an experimental and enjoyable way offering creative activities. And The Sculpture Garden permanent Exhibition of Yigal Tomarkin's giant sculptures.
The museum offers guided tours and varied educational program for children and adults alike, group training, special activities on holidays and vacations, seminars, cultural evenings and master workshops.
