לורנס ווינר / גלריה דבירטלפון - 03-6043003 19/12/2009 עד ה-13/02/2010 גלריה דביר גאה להזמינכם לפתיחת תערוכת יחיד של לורנס ווינר פתיחה חגיגית בנוכחות האמן יום שבת 19.12.09 בשעה 20:00 האנגר 2, נמל יפו לורנס ווינר יליד 1942 פועל בשדה האמנות משנות ה-60 ומאז ובאופן רציף מהווה את חוד החנית של האמנות העכשווית. עבודתו מאופיינת בעבודות טקסט והינה מהפכנית היום כפי שהייתה אז. עובדה זו קיבלה אישוש לאחרונה ברטרוספקטיבה מקיפה As far as the eye can seeשהוצגה ב-Whitney Museum of Contemporary Art, New-York ונדדה ל- Museum of Contemporary Art, L.A ול-K21 Düsseldorf. בתערוכה זו יוצגו עבודות חדשות שנוצרו עבור החלל בנמל יפו. ווינר ממשיך את הייחוד שאפיין את יחסו לישראל/תל-אביב-יפו על ידי עבודות המורכבות משלושת השפות: עברית, ערבית ואנגלית. Weiner: ''The picture-frame convention was a very real thing. The painting stopped at the edge. When you are dealing with language, there is no edge that the picture drops over or drops of. You are dealing with something completely infinite. Language, because it is the most non-objective thing we have ever developed in this world, never stops''.
