My name is Ziv Tidhar. My artistic career started way back in the 1970s on the carpet in my parents living room in the small city in the dessert. I first mastered building in Lego and Play dough and painting with water colors and oil pencils combined with mixed techniques using my mother’s makeup. After serving in the IDF radio station (94-99), came the formal education in the academy of art design in Jerusalem where Is studied architecture. For the last 20 years I’ve been practicing architecture as an independent architect specializing in living spaces and as an interdisciplinary artist, Creator and curator (in the mythological “Gross” gallery in Tel Aviv), free-lance journalist and a commercial voice artist. I live in the north of Tel Aviv, where every room in my apartment is my studio, day and night. I’m partnered, plus a gorgeous dog.
