Nino Herman: "My art is about people: their existential situation, their living conditions, their emotions and the relationships. I am interested in revealing the mysteries of life, and for that I choose digital photography; a direct and unstaged form of art. In my photography I address the ideas of freedom, liberty, boundaries, and authority. I believe what sets me apart is the courage to open my heart and touch people’s lives."
Nino has worked as a photojournalist for thirty years for many newspapers in Israel and around the world. Since 2009, Nino has been solely creating art photography.
