Eliav Lives and works between Israel and Spain. She engages in her works on cultural, social and political issues. Her work, which is created from a personal and intimate point of view, touches the local and global collective memory and raises questions about identity, belonging, immigration, family and more. The body of her works is characterized by a combination of abstract and figurative and the geometric with the imaginary. She creates series of paintings with a common theme and aesthetics, placing each time the same subjects in a different environment and giving them new 
interpretations. 
 
Eliav was born and raised in Tel Aviv. Upon completing her degree at Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem, she moved to Italy winning a scholarship to specialize in painting and engraving. She is currently engaged in painting, performance and video-at and exhibits in Israel and around the world.
