Escape /The exhibition seeks to explore the phenomenon of "being here and feeling there" ? an Israeli form of existence that offers an escape from local provinciality and the existential difficulties of everyday reality. This form of being enables a person to select a different, challenging, cultural space or state of mind. The exhibition explores the meaning of the appeal for artists? working in Israel and searching for an alternative to local reality.
