Sometimes she approaches the canvas aggressively, at other times subtly, but always honestly and without compromise, making it her own. She uses her brush and palette knife to evoke the gamut of emotion ? joy, sadness, pensiveness ? depending on her mood of the moment. Her deft use of color gives her paintings a depth and sense of motion that belie the fact that Leah Eltes Meyer has been practicing her art for relatively few years.
