We, four artists of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, all in our sixties, chose to present a joint exhibition. Along with the work that has accompanied us for many years, we have faced throughout our lives with tasks such as immigration, peripherality, alienation, loss, dealing with the memory of the Holocaust and more, and all of these are reflected in our work.

The name of the exhibition - Wonderwoman - expresses the wonder of our existence as women / artists, the wonder of the accumulated life experience that is also expressed in the field of art, the wonder of the forces that allowed us to overcome personal and professional life pitfalls - including creation alongside mothers or grandmothers The increasing and wonderful creation of the creative freedom that develops over the years. We wanted to give place to this potential, to release and intensify with age which does not get enough visibility in the field of art.
We curated the exhibition together with mutual cooperation and support. This process is part of how we want to see the possibility of personal empowerment within the art community in which we live and create. We see the exhibition as part of an ongoing debate about the place of women in society in general and also while dealing with the issue of age.

משתתפות: נעמי טנהאוזר, הדי ברוייר אברמוביץ, פרוין שמואלי בוכניק, שרית לילה האס גלריה מרי ירושלים פתיחה ביום חמישי ה- 26.5.22 בשעה 19:00. נעילה בשבת 25.6.22 'וונדרוומן' היא תערוכה קבוצתית בה משתתפות ארבע אמניות ממוצאים אתניים ותרבותיים שונים. כל ארבע המשתתפות; נעמי טנהאוזר, הדי ברוייר אברמוביץ, פרוין שמואלי בוכניק ושרית לילה האס נמצאות בשנות השישים לחייהן ומתייחסות בתערוכה לחוויות כגון הגירה, פריפריאליות, זרות, אובדן, זיכרון השואה ועוד.
