Modern botanical science actually began with the desire of contemporary artists to depict plants, flowers and herbs from a careful observation of nature. This observation was considered necessary for artistic training. Thus, the great Renaissance artists, among them Leonardo da Vinci, engaged in drawing while imitating nature. In art, the flower is beyond organic form. Many symbols are embodied in it, and it is used to describe styles, moods, historical allusions and many other ideas. In the exhibition we present contemporary Israeli works of art, in painting, photography and drawing depicting these themes, each artist in his own unique style.
