Shani Blumenfeld-Aroati, a graduate artist and designer from the Shenkar Department of Fashion Design, is opening a solo exhibition built entirely of spectacular and invested embroidery of sewing threads on canvas. The name of the exhibition "Human Tissue" is a play on words, both for the Sisyphean technique of the embroidered works with great precision and for the objects displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition features human portraits combined with animal and plant motifs that bring from a small piece of the puzzle on the viewer the inner world of the characters as part of a delicate and fragile fabric of life.

The exhibition is the result of the artist's victory in an online competition / exhibition held by the gallery, in which artists were asked to submit a number of works that were presented for the audience to choose from among 20 artists selected to participate. Blumenfeld-Aroati won the majority of votes.
