John F. Kennedy said at the time in the 1960s:

"Written in Chinese, the word crisis consists of two signs, one symbolizing tragedy and one symbolizing opportunity . "
Such is the approach of collage artist Hannah Curtes Ben Eliezer: an attitude of hope, opportunity, victory and realistic coping.
Hannah's inner world is rich and she makes up and deconstructes her life, her emotions, and personal experiences embedded in childhood memories of her parents' home. Her parents succeeded in an effort to build a new life on the remnants of their lives and their worlds that they left behind and returned to trying to live a new life based on the memories of their youth who will die.
Hannah's attraction to the collage is no accident.
Collage work requires imagination, diligence, courage, and the use of unconventional materials that Hannah is able to combine into one piece.
Hannah's collages reflect light criticism of reality, as it forces the viewer to deal with parts that are both illusory and realistic at the same time. On the other hand, her work is spectacular, intriguing, mysterious, aesthetic to the eye, and endowed with composition and constant rhythm.
Hannah was born in Slovakia when the "Only Girl" journey on her back absorbed artistic and aesthetic values and rules of order and discipline that defined her childhood and shaped her adult life. The works give a strong expression of the separation from the past and the pain, with a hymn to the birth of an exciting new chapter of life, which reflects personal freedom in the way of repair and completion.
She states:
"To the Collage Hall of Art, I was in pain and distress about 9 years ago. I was torn apart and my private world shattered, before my eyes, into a serious break.
I began to connect the paper cuttings painfully and mindlessly. The brutal end of a significant chapter in the life of a new light.
.. "I lit up" ... magical worlds were created from scraps of paper. The new embroidery of textures and color was created from their previous world. "
"Fragment Collection" is both symbolic and practical.
The works of Cretes Ben Eliezer, who was widowed 9 years ago, have a significant expression of separation from the past and from pain while constantly building personal freedom through repair and completion.
Hannah's life collage is a symbol of a second generation, a meeting between past and present, perseverance and mobilization of power and a struggle for a quality life that has a spirit of expression and action.
