Clothes have always been a source for establishing personal and external identity. Our clothes, our looks, institute the most basic foundation for the way we want to be represented, the symbols of culture, the time and place where we live, and the part we wish to fill within. The garment and the decoration are a language for representing the body, but at the same time they are open for the individual another path in which he can express his personality, his soul and his positions. Therefore, it is not surprising that we find that this connection produced a wealth of literary works that make explicit or metaphorical use of clothing. The texts selected are an inspiration and a framework story for the creative process in which the artists knit, weave and open up a hatch for the viewer to look at various issues dealing with clothing, body and text

Will the exhibited works draw their strength from the text or vice versa?
Will the ongoing dialogue yield works of art standing on their own?
Will the works presented be a parallel story to the text?
