The sea, whether stormy or peaceful, plays the main role and inspires this collection of pictures - ''Sea Window''. Orit Gafni does not wish to present nature exactly as it is ? she creates art that relates emotion, narrative and mystery.

Orit achieves this by combining several techniques: Digital photography , computerized image processing which combines  and  changes  photographs, and a touch of color on the canvas.

This way the borders between the categories become blurred and the pictures become a new reality ? a new world is born, a world without boundaries. The original image partly melts away, giving way to other images: a red night gown flies above the sea like a free bird, or a bicycle making its way through the waves. Thus, using hidden and visible light effects, a almost surrealistic, meditative feeling of ''cosmic time'' is created.

Orit Gafni, now living in Ramat Hasharon, was born in Ein Hahoresh. After working as a nurse for many years she began teaching software on 2000 ? an occupation she has been combining for several years with art.

Since 2005 Orit's digital creations have been displayed in a series of solo and group exhibitions.
