She investigated the imagery of blockage both from a theoretical point of view as well as a representational perspective in a wide variety of media and contexts - painting, drawing, installation and performance - to explore the dialogue between word and matter in different ways. The exhibition explores the interaction between the different materials and surfaces of the paintings and their contents. This examination illuminates the motif of blockage in a new way.
